Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Housekeeping/ Laundry Assistant to be part of the team in Daviot Care Home in Inverness.
Located in Inverness in the picturesque Scottish Highlands, Daviot Care Home provides high quality nursing care for residents affected by general frailty and also has specialist units for those living with dementia and mental health conditions.
Your role as a Meallmore Housekeeping Assistant will include:
- High standard of cleanliness adhering to additional covid measures for covid19/Omicron
- Cleaning the bedrooms and bathrooms for the elderly residents of our 52-bed care home also communal areas
- Vacuum rooms and corridors
- Dispose of waste accordingly
- Change and replenish towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines
- Restock and maintain trolley on daily basis completion of cleaning schedules

Qualifications and skills:
- Positive attitude
- A driven individual that can use their own initiative
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work on your own or in teams
- Flexible and reliable
- Experience working within Care Homes, Hospitality, Schools or Commercial (Desirable but not essential)
