The post holder will monitor the day to day Theatre loan tray service for dedicated areas within Operating Theatres and associated external areas. This post covers a range of tasks, which require the exercise of initiative. This will also include the cascade of information to instrument coordinators/assistant instrument coordinators and clinical teams regarding issues such as loan trays and lack of prosthesis/implant availability so prompt actions can be taken.

• Provide a professional, customer focused service in support of stakeholders to provide the management of loan surgical instruments and prosthesis/implants and ad hoc products.
• The post holder will be required to assist with the provision of an efficient, cost effective, timely and courteous service related to OSCCA/MSK Implant management services.
• To work within the operating department/recovery to assist trained theatre/recovery practitioners in the delivery of safe, quality care to the patient and maintain good communication with the multidisciplinary team.
