About us
We are a friendly Chinese takeaway based in Cowley, Oxford and we are looking for someone who is super friendly, trustworthy & reliable, ideally looking for long term work. If you are available immediately for training and getting up to speed, even better.
We are looking for friendly counter staff to process orders over the phone, internet and in person as well as help out the kitchen with order packing and general food preparation.
Must be able to work from 5:00pm until 9.30pm or later.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their orders, and ensuring that the counter area is clean and organised. The ideal candidate should have a friendly and outgoing personality, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong communication skills. Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide customers with accurate information about products and services.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Keep the counter area clean and organized.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain a positive attitude when dealing with customers.
- Help the kitchen with packing and general food preparation
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week
Pay: £10.50-£12.00 per hour
