Smart 11+ Tuition is a friendly, independent tuition company in Solihull. Our goal is to provide high quality tuition for the 11+ examination and KS2 SATs. We are looking for committed tutors with a passion to see students succeed in our Solihull tuition centre.
We are looking for a tutor who can teach Maths and Non-verbal Reasoning, and/or English and Verbal Reasoning.
Please note, this role is for face-to-face tuition which takes place in Solihull.
This role is until September 2024, in line with this year's 11+ exam, with the potential to renew the contract for another year.
Responsibilities
1. Guiding small groups of pupils through our 11+ curriculum using the resources provided by the company.
2. Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative teaching.
3. Marking work to facilitate positive pupil development.
4. Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development.
5. Providing feedback to parents and carers on a pupil's progress.
6. Tuition takes place on Saturday mornings (8:15am - 1:40pm) with the possibility of additional sessions on Tuesday evenings (4:50pm - 8:30pm).
Requirements
· Applicants must have a teaching/teaching assistant qualification, or be working towards one.
· Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills.
· Ability to develop positive rapport with students.
· Ability to provide structured and positive feedback to parents.
· Enhanced DBS clearance or be willing to apply.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 3.5 - 9 per week
Salary: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
