Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out painting and decorating tasks in residential properties and communal areas to a high standard.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including filling cracks, sanding, and ensuring smooth finishes.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using various techniques and tools.
- Select and mix paint colours to achieve the desired results.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and departments to provide comprehensive property maintenance services.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing resident's painting and decorating needs with professionalism and courtesy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter, with a track record in residential or commercial painting and decorating work.
- Demonstrated proficiency in various painting techniques and finishes.
- Knowledge of different types of paints, varnishes, and surface preparation materials.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with residents and colleagues in a positive and friendly manner.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices within the painting and decorating industry.
